Welcome to Food Freedom Fundamentals, Messy healths first online course. This course is a self-paced course with 4 modules, each created to help you unpack your underlying mentality around food.
Are you sick of dieting? Sick of feeling anxious about food? Tired of not being comfortable going out to eat with your friends and loved ones? Obsessively reading food labels, following meal plans and constantly feeling like your body, your hunger and your weight are the problem? Then this course is for you.This course was made to not only help you unlearn conditioned beliefs around food but to also help you relearn freedom around food.
Maddie (the founder of Messy Health and this online school) spent years healing her own relationship with food, studied nutrition science and psychology around food and has since been working with clients to help them feel confident and in control around food, reform a peaceful relationship with their body and eat intuitively.
This course was written with the Health At Every Size framework in mind. While we aim to be as safe as possible and use inclusive language, potentially triggering words may be used. depending on your personal experiences you may find some language triggering. In any case, we encourage you to keep this in mind.

Your Instructor
Maddie (she/her) is a Nutritionist from Australia. She holds bachelor of Food and Nutrition Science and is undertaking a Masters degree in Psychotherapy this year. She has also worked within the Australian and American media as a nutritional advisor and consultant.
She is the founder Messy Health and the Messy Health School, a platform dedicated to creating a educational space for those working on their mental health, healing their relationship with food, feeling peaceful about their body, and taking back joy and pleasure in their life. Through her own journey of developing peace around food and her body, coupled with her education in nutrition, food science and psychotherapy, she has knowledge and understanding to help facilitate healing around food, body image, the body and how they all intersect.
Although the majority of her academic training is in nutrition and food science, she is very passionate about sexual health. sex positivity, body image, relational health and all aspects of mental health and plans to continue exploring these areas while studying psychotherapy.
Maddie practices through a feminist, social justice, Health At Every Size and inclusive lens and holds inclusivity and accessibility as a top priority.
